CORNERSTONE KIDS (grades PreK-8) meet during the 9:00AM service on Sunday mornings.
Nursery care is provided during both the 9:00 & 11:00AM services.
What have we been up to?
Here at FUMC's Cornerstone Kids Church we believe that Jesus is the cornerstone. All that we do will line up with Him and His teachings through scripture. Our first responsibility is to help our kids grow and develop in their own relationship and understanding of the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. To help them in this journey, we will give them the foundational tools to become strong, confident, and resilient Christians who follow, honor, fight for, and reveal the Lord to the world. Every lesson will stand on God's word. We will inspire creative, cognitive thinkers who will help to lead and shape our society. They will acquire the necessary tools to express themselves as individuals and with their peers. We will create a learning environment where everyone feels safe to share their thoughts and ask deep questions. With Jesus as our cornerstone, we will prayerfully lay each brick in line with Him and build "us" together "to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit." (Ephesians 2:20-22)
